 I think my aft is sick???

He hasn’t eaten in 3 days, and pays no attention to his crickets anymore, had runny droppings 3 days ago, when I first noticed something wasn’t right, and since then no droppings at all. He seems really inactive and is losing weight.
I can’t take him to a vet right away, what should I do???
I’ve only had him for about a month, and he’s about a year old.
He seemed fine before.

I would say call around and ask a vet if they’ll take payments, because that what it sounds like your guy needs, but what’s the run down on your set up? Whats your temps? humidity? hides? how often do you dust it’s food and what do you use. What size tank? Pictures would be nice.

Right now he’s got a 20 gallon setup, temp is always between 80-90 and I keep one side of his terrarium fairly moist, and the other a little more dry. He has a basking spot, and 3 hides. I use a bark/dirt substrate and dust his food with vitamins every other feeding (he eats 2-3 crickets everyday, because he’s still to young to go with less).
I am waiting until this evening to see if he eats anything, and if he doesn’t, calling a vet.
I don’t have any pictures right now.. but I’ll see if I can find any.

sounds like some sort of parasite.. youll need to take a poop sample to a vet to find out what kind so you can get the proper medication.

Thanks for all the help. He seems a little better now, but I’m keeping a very close eye on him. He ate something (finally) and seems more active.
