 Considering an african fat tail

I’m not sure what kind of gecko to get. at first I wnated to get a leopard gecko but with the issue of eating the sand and everything I decided forget it. Before I decide I have some questions for anyone who owns one, Are they social? Are they expensive? And do they stay healthy on just mealworms instead of crickets?

first for leos just dont put them on sand... easy as that. I have heard that multipul females in the same tank seem to "enjoy" it, but I am skeptical. Two males is definatly not a good idea. The expense depends on quality, and morph. AT a petr store you can usually get juviniles for 60$. I wasnt able to get mine to eat mealworms, but a varried diet is always good.

They dont "like" it, but most will tolerate it.
I wouldn’t feed it just mealworms, not sure if thats healthy, with all the chiten, i would give it supers, and crix.
