 Burrowing gecko

In my geckos tank she likes to push the eco earth to one side inside one of her caves. Is this bad?

Should I add more eco earth? I have half a brick in the 10 gallon.

I spray the tank a few times a week.

Please help,

that sounds normal to me...i use about one whole brick for my 20L, but i sometimes put more if i’m making a lot of ecoearth at once.
they’ll do that with any amount of dirt though, afts will make lots of little hills and valleys throughout their tank.

Really? when I was researching AFTs nobody said any thing about burrowing but that just makes them cooler.

Thanks for the help. I was worried but now that i know it is normal I actually think it is kind of funny. When I lift up her caves she has pushed everything to the side and make a huge mound.

they burrow all right.. boomer dug out under one of his pieces of slate. i thought he had escaped and tore everything out of his tank and was freaking out.. then i picked the slate tile up and he had dug a hole out in the center under it.. he wasn’t thrilled with me disturbing his nap with all my shenanigans either. lol

Yeah, my gecko has burrowed under her water dish, piece of wood, etc. You name it she it under.

I must be cool to see them at night though I never do. LOL
