 Gecko’s Eyes watery glaze

It’s as if he is crying... about once or twice a day my AFT has a big tear (water drop) over his open eye. Is this normal?

does it happen when he’s eating? if so then its like what crocdiles do because of a reflex thing in their throats. I don’t think that is what it is so don’t take my advice lol

no, that’s not normal at all.

i would think that there’s something stuck in his eye so it’s creating more tears to push it out.

most likely a piece of substrate..i would suggest taking him to a vet and they can put a neon-yellow fluid in his eye and use a blacklight to see if there’s any scratches or anything stuck in there. :)

yeah..animals that are in pain or discomfort don’t eat.
i would imagine that his eye probably hurts, so he’s gonna be grumpy and not want things bothering him, understandably.
