 Cage Requirements

is everything the same as a leo? do they get the same size? are they as holdable as a leo?

AFTs are a little more delicate, I think. Enclosure size should be about the same.

all animals r delicate but u should never handle any lizard like its not delicate. u should have at least 20 gal. tank and not use up alot of space. u should also have 2 lights placed at the 2 sides of the cage(night and day) because his cage can be mild tempatures. if he wants to be hot he can go on one side and if hes too hot he can go on the other side. [info from a leo]u should also have a water bowl because when they shed they need moisture. u can use wet moss.

This is not entirely correct. AFTs do not bask, they are nocturnal. A under tank heater (UTH) under 1/3 to 1/2 of the enclosure(tank) is best. It is much easier to create a heat gradient this way by increasing the depth of the substrate on the cool side. Also, lights tend to dry out the enclosure.
