 Behavior and egg laying

Hey guys!
I think that my aft might be a girl (we can never look at her underside long enough to tell) and might be getting ready to lay eggs. I was wondering if their behavior during this time is any different and what to look for. It has not eaten in over two weeks and its stomach looks kinda bulgy on the sides. Usually gorges itself with crickets...so kinda concerned!

If its kept alone, I doubt its an egg, but it might be (Ive had it happen on newly purchased AFTs). AFTs usually shed just prior to laying eggs.

Being compacted is also a possibility.

I dont think so, but Im not sure. takes a couple months after mating to lay eggs

Do you know if their behavior changes any during this time. It shed about a week ago...and has had regular bm’s but is not eating...

They all act a little different. Some chow down, others back off on eating. If it goes two weeks after the shed and no egg or change.... its probably something else.

Also small drops of pedia lite on placed above the lips will be licked off..... th drinking of fluids helps flush the system along with the warm bath.
