 HELP

You can get them dirt cheap at a Reptile Show. Other than that, if there are none on display at a pet store in your local area they will be far from cheap as they will need to be shipped overnight by a reputable breeder. The overnight shipping, which I have no idea how much will cost, could probably cost half as much as the reptile itself.

This is a slow forum as AFTs haven’t reached the popularity of Leos or other more common geckos. Give it some time and maybe someone will post a link to some breeders.

Plan B - Post a request for "AFT breeders" in the Leopard Geckos Link and general Geckos Link forums. I’m sure someone will reply in the Leo forum in less than 30 minutes! lol

Surf the Forums Link page and check the Information Forums for Announcements/News and Events/Shows

Good Luck,
B

 HELP

Just out of curiosity, what reptiles, if any, do your local pet shops stock?

Snakes are really common amongst pet shops and make great pets if there are no geckos or other lizards to choose. I had two 3 1/2 ft. Ball Pythons some years ago and they were AWESOME. They loved to be handled and were very friendly. I sold them to a friend when my wife was pregnant with my daughter just about 8 years ago. They say that reptiles and pregnant women/newborns don’t mix, so I took heed. If you didn’t know, they eat frozen or live mice/rats. Kama and Monty ONLY ate live. They, like many other reptiles, reqired movement to stimulate eating.

Now that my kids are older, I got another reptile. Reptiles Rule!
