Name change lol, and question 
i changed kongs name to fred. lol dnt ask me why, but anyways hes hazing and about to shed so i didnt handle him i just petted him once and he up his tail up idk if this is good or bad lol but i put in come crix about 5-6 a night, and he eats them all, i put one in just to see if he’d eat b4 a shed and instantly he ate, should i be putting more crix in? idc how fat he gets lol i love him

If he eats, feed him. If Cuweena could or would eat 10, I would feed her 10 every other night. She actually ate 5 this morning. I’ve been working a lot lately, two doubles two days in a row so I missed her night feeding last night. I came home this morning and she was still awake, hanging in her repti shelter. I took the top off and petted her head and asked her if she wanted to eat. I ran down to the basement, grabbed 4 crickets and dropped them one by one in the hole. She ate them readily. I went back down and got 3 more, but she only ate 1 of them, so I waited a bit and took the other 2 out for tomorrow. I was pretty surprised she ate this morning rather than at night, but she’s done it before. When I first got her, I was feeding her at around 6pm with all the lights in the house and hers on. Then she started sleeping all day, so I started feeding at night.
Are you feeding every night or every other? There’s been some debate about the feeding schedules. Supposedly you’re only supposed to feed every night if it’s a juvie or gravid (going to lay eggs) as it would need more calcium than normal. If I’m not mistaken, Fred is still young so you could get away with it. And hopefully he is actually a Fred, not a Freda, so you won’t have to worry about him being gravid and laying any eggs! LoL

Fatty will eat in the middle of a shed, Fred looks very young so feed him 6-10 small-med Crix every day. Dust with calcium every feeding and give Ca W/ D3 on monday and friday.
