 Some egg pictures

Work and life at home have kept me from posting lately, but I have been trying to stop by at least once every couple of weeks.

Thought I would share some pictures of AFT eggs with you all. Pops is an albino, who the mom is..... well its one of 3 ladies in this colony. Need to see the bay to know the mom

The dirty eggs were laid in substrate. Once a week when I air out my Egg tub, I gently rub the dirty eggs with a dry Q-tip (a soft artist brush might be better) to remove the substrate. I never wipe it all off as the egg grows it will release most of it. I just get nervous that it will hold moisture close to the egg.

The 2 white eggs were laid in a hide and ended up being stuck together. I placed them the way I found them in the incubator. I have found that connecting eggs are easily separated about 6 weeks into incubation. I have put eggs that have been connected to hides into an incubator with the hides for weeks before gently separating them.

AFTs lay the eggs about 13-15 days a part, 2 eggs each (Ive nevever gotten more then two) for a max of 10 eggs ( Ive heard of some getting 12)
