well i dont own one but have worked with them in the past.
Beaded lizzards are found in mexico,and the ajoining parts of the us.
like the gila monster they are poisonous but differ sightly in apearance.
Both have a beaded feel to ther skin but have slighty diffrent patterns and colors on ther skin.

your right but they are also darker colored.
