 Feeding the critters

I have read on all feeding instructions that any food uneaten should be removed daily (I would quess this means prior to turning on the moon light). So, when your tank has bark all over the bottom and the worms are somewhere in there, how do you remove uneaten food without destoying the tank and stressing out the lizards?
Also, this is my first time owning lizards - I have two females - any feeding, care or experience advice would be GREATLY appreaciated. Thanks!
Oh, and i have them in a 10 gallon tank - well decked out - lots to climb on but is it too small?

I wouldn’t worry about removing uneaten food items. This sounds like it came off of the Pet co site. Garbage, mostly. A ten gallon, especially when well decorated, will be fine. You can always go bigger if the opportunity arises. My biggest tip is, mist daily. I can’t say if you were told to do this or not, but it is vital to their health. Mine would follow the water droplets on the side of the glass tank drinking from them more so than any leaves etc. Just leave food in the tank for the food items. The worms will eat a piece of lettuce, or something similar. That will work. It would be impossible to remove them without destroying the tank. If you want, you can post some more info about your tank and I can give an opinion on it if you like. I have noticed that there doesn’t seem to be anyone answering most of the questions here. I am busty with a couple other forums, but I will try yo answer this one at least once a day or so.

 Lethargic behavior

Thanks thanks and more thanks Evan
They were doing very well and now for the past 24 hours or so they have been very lethargic with laboured breathing. I am attempting to find solutions via web but if you have any suggestions...
Yes, I mist them up to four times a day - they love it! They have much "entertainment" in their enclosure as well and I do clean it once a week or two. You are correct - it was a pet co instruction to remove their food daily - I have not - ...lol, ya right, chasing crickets around the tank everyday or looking for worms - talk about tressing out the lizards!
Thanks again for your help
Emma
