Are escaped crickets OK to feed?

OK I know feeding my lizard "wild" crickets is a no-no. But is it safe to feed her store-bought crickets that have escaped & lived in the house for several days? Could they pick up enough household chemicals or whatever to harm my lizard?

Even if they didn’t get into chemicals, they probably have no nutritional value left for the lizzard because the cricks haven’t eaten anything good.

The only animals that get escaped crickets in my house are my cats. That’s just my preference though. I see them as wild crickets.
