 Potting soil?

hey, i have two long tailed grass lizards and for substrate right now im using repti-carpet, and i REALLY dont like the look of it. so i was wondering if i could use potting soil?. to me i think it would be ok..

Most soil works you just don’t want it to have pesticides in it.

I have potting soil in part of the tank and my lizards LOVE 2 dig in it. Its natural for them 2 burrow.
