 Help with savannah monitor

My savannah monitor has recently gotten quite jittery and tries to whip anytime you try to pick it up. When I did pick it up I noticed the vent is swollen and it poops almost every time you pick it up. The poop is runny and I’m wondering what could be the problem and what I should do. It’s still a baby about a foot long. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no need 2 worry that is nomal. it is a defence. all baby savs do that till the get used to you. poop is norm to. but if the vent dose not go back in after a poop then that is a possible prolapse.

If the poop is the white color, that’s just the urine and happens to me sometimes when mine is nervous. If this is still happening when your not handling it, it may be something else. Just try to handle it often at the young age and it should get used to you. My little one has gone from hissing and jumping to a little more of a relaxed state.
