Antibiotics??? 
I have a Jones girdled lizard (armadillo lizard) and I believe she has a respiratory infection, or a mouth infection, or both. There is not a reptile vet in my area and the local vets do not deal with reptiles. I was wondering if anybody knows what type of oral antibiotic I could use, and the amount to use. Thanks.

50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water for mouth infection

you NEED to take it to a vet. even if it means driving far. nobody can tell you what or what not to use as you are not for certain WHAT it is. a vet can take a sample and culture it to find out what is best to fight it. I would not listen to the previous poster. certain meds kill certain organisms. home remedy is not the answer as RI’s and mouth rot can lead to a systemic infection and it may die.
