 Sick red tail

I HAVE A RED TAIL BOA THAT IS A MALE ABOUT 6-FT AND I DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WAS SICK WHEN I BOUGHT IT IT HAS LOST HALF ITS BODY WEIGHT HE IS WEAZZING AND WONT EAT I TOOK HIM TO THE VET2 TIMES AND THEY GAVE ME FORTAZ FOR INJECTIONS IT HAS NOT HELPED AND SO FAR THE VET BILL HAS COST ME $550.00 I AM ABOUT OF MONEY AND PATIENCE WITH THE VET THIS IS THE 2ND VET NOW THEY BOTH SAY IT IS A LUNG INFECTION I HAVE 4 OTHER SNAKES AND I CANNOT HAVE MY OTHER SNAKES GETTING SICK I HAVE THEM SEPERATED FROM THE SICK SNAKE I READ BUTATROL CAN HEALP IF SO HOW IS IT GIVIN

it seems like a really bad RI....Try this put gatorade in the water the electrolytes will help stimulate an appetite...after that remove water so that it dosent push the infection further down. raise ambient temp by about 5 degrees.if the vets say its a lung infection then it means the RI has done moved pretty far down..if not takin care of may cause mouth rot... try that then may work may not..
