Snake Mites - I can’t get rid of them!!!!

They won’t go away. My adult bp has been treated twice for mites using Zoo-med’s Mite-off. She is on paper towels rather than her usual aspen. i sprayed her sunday with the mite-off and yesterday she still had some. also, my eastern king has them really bad! i dont understand. he is downstairs, and my bp is upstairs. how could he have gotten them? should i be trying another product? please help.

Mite-Off doesn’t work. There are a few good things to use. I personally use DeFlea Reptile relief. It can be used every 3 days, and I have cleared a severe outbreak within 3 treatments and I always do one more treatment after I think I have cleared it up. I spray the entire enclosure, hide spots, branch, etc. I let the water dish soak in bleach water for a couple hours and then rinse very, very well. Make sure you are treating the lids/tops as well.

As for how they were transfered from your bp to your king, I would guess you had a couple on you and they transfered while handling.
