 Is what where doing wrong?

we buy hermit crabs that we all know can’t be breed so we know they come from the wild. we take them home into a nice 10 or 20 gallon even tho they like wide open beaches and we buythem a few friends even tho they travel in groupsor 100.
my questoin is , is what where doing wrong? wouldn t they miss their families and stuff, i m always hearing people say don t take aniamls out of the wild, but isn t that what we re doing?


i don t know what i think, but what do you think.

Well, we couldn’t breed alot of things before, and it takes years of refinning to succeed, but I am sure that we will eventually breed all of our crabs in captivity, it just might take a long time because of their breeding habits. There has been 1 recorded successful breeding in astralia though, so there is some hope!

BREEDING HERMITS IS LIKE, IMPOSSIBLE

You need salt water, a established marine tank (take like a few years to establishit)
Sea weed, all sorts, a wave machine, the tak needs to be like 100 gallons plus land, and temps.

i think it is wrong and i’m going to try breeding them,yes breed them, when i save up enough money and maybe become a marine biologist if i don’t become a vet-dermatologist or neurosurgeon.that way i will know if i do something wrong in the breeding process.
