 Breeding?

what do i do if i wake up and there are eggs in my hermit crab cage? and how likely is this i have 7 together

You basically have a 1% chance of eggs and a 0%. It will be a long time and an alot of money before breeding can be done and it is still extremely hard.

more like a .05% chance of raising them(it’s possible),but that’s close to nothing.

are saltwater ocean hermit crabs easier to breed?
mine are always messing with each other.just wondering...

breeing land hermit crabs is almost impossible, i know of only one person who had gotten the zoea into shells and onto land. its very unlikly that you will get mating crabs, captive conditions usualy arent good enough to get them mating. even if you do get fertalized eggs, they need to hatch and live in a fully cycled saltwater tank for there first stage of life, with special food and an expensive special filter. the tank would need to be BIG too. so dont worry about waking up with 200 more crabs lol.
