at least a 10g is suitable for at least 3 small hermits,and painted shells can kill them,becuase of the chemicals n when it chips they eat it,natural shells are better for thier well being. but cute picxz. |

Humidity is a must or it will not survive long. If it doesn’t have any friends, it will get stressed and also die. I suggest a couple of friends, a larger aquarium with a solid lid and temp and humidity gauge. Additional tray with salt water is also good (not table salt). Some web sites will tell you that these are low maintenance creatures. That is not true if you want healthy long living crabbies. |
