MOM PROBLEMS 
hey i am trying to convince my parents into leting me by a hog nose snake but when i told her that they are mildly vanomous she flipped !!!! i know the bites are pretty mutch harmless but can you post pics of what a bite from a hog nose snake looks like eaven if it puts some venom into you!!!!!

I don’t really know how to treat the bites, but the bites aren’t that bad anyways. I am, however, great at getting parents to allow their kids to get Snakes. My mom is ophidiophobic, and I convinced her to get me several Snakes. Firstly, offer to pay for the Snake with your own money. Secondly, don’t tell her it eats mice until AFTER you buy the Snake. If you’ve already told her, then tell her it only needs to eat once a week, so it’s cheap. Thirdly, promise to get get good marks or do well in your extra currricular activities. I had to pass a piano exam and get at least three A’s in school to get my Hognose. Also, whenever someone asks you what you would like for your birthday or Christmas, just say ’Hognose’. After a while my family got fed up with me saying that’s all I wanted, so they got one for me. And lastly, try crying. I only ever use that as a last resort, and I had to to get my Burmese and my Copperhead. Let me know if any of these suggestions helped.

Dude, I’m a herpetologista, my Snakes are very well taken care of. I don’t think you Americans should have Reptiles. My friend said that only one in a million Iguanas live past age two in America. If you can’t even take care of Iguanas, lets see how well you take care of other reptiles. Besides, how else am I supposed to get Snakes with a family full of ophidiophobic peoples¿

i have no problem with you crying to get your snakes, if it works it works. But the way you said us americans shouldnt have other reptiles because your FRIEND said that only one in a million Iguanas live past age two in america is just completely upsurd. Perhaps your FRIEND is wrong?
