BABY WESTREN HOGNOSE You don’t have to type in caps haha. Anyway, non feeding babies are a common problem and it sounds like you tried most all of the best ways to get a snake to eat. Hognoses are known for going off feed and refusing food for periods of time. I really doubt you’re snake is starving. Snakes can go quite some time without feeding. Give him some more time but keep offering him food and trying those techniques hopefully he should come around. Maybe someone else on here will read this and have some other ideas but it sounds like you have done well so far on at least trying to feed him. Good luck.

BABY WESTREN HOGNOSE You’re welcome. Most people that keep their Hognoses on Toads year round catch a bunch of them in the spring/summer months and freeze them. I don’t think there is any places that consistantly sells frozen toads year round.

BABY WESTREN HOGNOSE Now that he’s eating, next time try a tuna-scented pinkie. Just use the water straight from the tuna can. If you have another toad handy, you can still use that if you have to, but try to get him off them. if you do have to use, scent the toad with tuna. I know it sounds unnecessary, since he already likes the way toads smell, but the idea is to get him to associate a new strong smell with food. Then use that mental association to get him to take a pinkie.
