My hoggy, Chubby 
This is my Western Hognose, Chubby Checker. The pictures are kinda blurry since my camera sucks, but I hope you enjoy anyway.

He’s very docile and never hoods or plays dead on us. He’s our cute little boy.

Nice looking Hog. I am still battleing mine with him not eating. I got him to eat once and I have had him for 2 months now. Its makeing me worried, anyways you have a nice looking hog 4 shure.

Thank you. Our guy was supposed to be a problem feeder. The store we bought him from said he doesn’t eat pinkie mice. He was only supposed to be eating lizards and frogs. We took him home with an anole, but tried the mouse first. He took right to it and hasn’t been interested in anything else since then. Have you tried frogs or toads with your snake or tried scenting the pinkie? It might help.

No I havent, I thought about getting a Anole and trying the trick where you have the anole in front of him and when he gets ready to eat the Anole place a mouse in front of him. But I didnt know if it would really work and I wouldnt know what to do with the Anole afterward.

I already had an anole tank set up, so it wasn’t hard for me. Do you own any lizards? You can try rubbing the pinkie on the lizard. If not then you might just want to go get a frog and try to scent the pinkie or even just feed the frog to him. If he takes it you can just go get a frog and keep it to try to scent the pinkie the next few times. You can buy the cheap plastic critter keepers and keep it in that. Other than those suggestions I’m not really sure.
