The yes turn blue and the color gets a little duller. Babies will usually still eat right on schedule; although if they choose not to it’s nothing topanic over. After a year or so refusing food before a shed becomes more common.

Hey, glad you undestood waht I was typing. Didn’t even notice that I’d spelled "eyes" wrong until just now!
Also, you might notice more soaking in the water dish than usual. The urge to soak and the urge to hide can be at odds with each other, though, so a lot of us give them a pan or box with some moist sphagnum in it, so if they feel the need they can bury themselves in there instead of in their dry stuff.
