 Help plz!!!!!

k my dad’s friends is giveing me a lizard and he said it looks like a horrny toad but its not because its no as fat or doesnt have that many horns and its about 6-8in and i’m not sure if its a water dragon plz help when i get it friday ill post pics if anybody knows wat it is plz contact me thnx

I know it’s not your fault but that’s a bad idea, and irresponsible of your dad’s friend. You should tell him that experienced people on reptiles forums say so. He shouldn’t be giving lizards to kids that neither he nor you know anything about. It’s also going to cost money, and you should ask your dad’s friend if he is going to purchase you a nice big tank and an expensive UVB light that it will need too.

Horned Lizards are not "fat". They have large abdominal cavities as space for their stomach and lungs to inflate and puff themselves up. "That many horns" is confusing too, because there are different Horned Lizard species and many have different numbers of horns.

Post the pics when you get it and I’ll help you ID it. I still say it’s a bad idea though, especially if you don’t have a few years of successful reptile experience.

soz about that my dad didnt tell me it was a gecko with horns go to the form tha says just gecko and ull c his pic if want to and thnx for ur help
