 PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I was on the swift forum and fence lizard forum and they didn’t know and told me to come here.

1. I caught a adult texas spiny crossed with a desert spiny and it has the blue and yellow side blotches, but has a short tale and a females cloaca (looks like).

it has the males coloring too

Im a experianced texas spiny lizard breeder and have never seen anything like it,

If U have pics of spiny lizards cloaca that would help alot.

2. I bred some texas spinys and released the babies into the wild (and adults) and I recaught one because it was bleeding behind the eye (swelled shut). So I took it in hav it in a very plane cage. Then I found out its other eye doesn’t open.
so it cant see its food and when I try to force feed it, it doesnt open its mouth.
any advice on feeding it, or should I release it and let nature take its course?

Try Repti-aid. Mix it into a paste and kind of smear it onto it’s lips. Eventually it should open it’s mouth and lick it off. Then you can use the syringe to put the mix in it’s mouth.

How do you know if the lizards are Male or Female I just caught 3 of them and 2 have pinkish color on their sides and the other has an orange color on its sides I haven’t really looked to see what type they are yet but all I really need is to know if they are Male or Female

well if they are males if they have colors on their sides and females have wavy lines on their back


and thankyou.

I have tryed smearin calcium supplement on her lips

but now ill try that.

Repti-aid has both calories and nutrients. Much better than just calcium for a sick lizard.

HEY, I WAS ABLE TO FEED HER 2 CRICKETS!!!!!!!!!
when ever i pick her up now she opens her mouth and i put a crickets head in her mouth, then he gobles it down
