 Help with Horned Lizard

Hi,
I just joined this group. I was walking in our yard, and found a horned lizard. He was looking very thin, and when I touched him he didn’t even try to move away. I brought him inside, and I am wondering what I can to to help him? Or should I put him back outside? I don’t want him to die, and I am not exactly sure where he was laying in the yard. I know the general area. Please advise ASAP. I live in Flagstaff just over 7000 ft. elevation.
Thanks!

the best thing you can do for this HL is to put it back were you found it, maybe even spray it with a little water.

but its nice to see that you are concerned about the little guy, but if you really care about it, follow what i said above.

Funky Monkey is right. Best to let him go where you found him. Most likely he just woke up from hibernation and will start eating and putting on weight.
