i currently have 2 HL in a 30 gallon tank and was wondering if it would be OK to put two more in that my friend is going 2 give to me or if it would croud the two i already have

It would be much to crowded the minimum for 2 is a forty breeder and they are extremely territorial. If you want 4 get a kiddie pool with alot of floor space and you will be fine. by the way kiddie pools are extremely cheap you could probably get one for about 5-10 bucks at a local Walmart or Home Depot! Make sure they are all females or one male and 3 females never put two males together.
