 How can I get my HL to drink?

I got my two HLs about three days ago. They eat fine with ants now but i’ve never seen them drink in the water pool i’ve made for them. I can see them bathing in the pool right now but i don’t understand why they never drink the water? What is wrong with them? Please help!
Oh, and they keep on running around the tank, bumping themselves onto the glass and falling all over? Are they panic or something, or is it that they have mental problems?

If you do a search on care of an HL,
It will link you to two different care sheets here on Reptic zone.
You need to mist them every other day or at least 2x a week. They drink water that comes from rain or morning dew.
Not the entire enclosure but the lizards themselves.
I am new to keeping one myself but read the care sheets.
