 Winter is here! (Pictures)

Winter has finally hit in cloudy Illinois. That means fuzzy horses and lots of snow :)


Mirage’s winter coat....my brother says he looks like a llama XP


And this is the first snow of 2009! where I’m at anyway

Awh! I love when horses get their winter coat. I only know of one horse’s winter coat I don’t like, and that’s my horse. Espy has a lot of brown mixed into her grey coat, and I like that. Her winter coat is a lot greyer.

Mirage is adorable. What is his color?

We’ve been calling him a Rose-grey pinto (he’s a pinto cuz on right his side he’s got a big white spot)

His coat is a lot more grey now this winter (last year it was like a weird brown color). In the summer he’s got a little more brown mixed in there. He’s so young he’s still in that color-changing phase. We’re guessing he’s gonna end up more grey looking than brown.
