 How does everyone feel about wire cages?
alright pls don’t yell at me:( but are wire cages a good choice?we have an old one that we aren’t using and the wire is spread about an inch by an inch.would this work or should i keep looking?

don’t know how you are going to hold the humidity. running a humidifiyer in my room all day still dosent get it over 50%

well....... I have a mesh cage. yes I have heard all about it and understand why most iggy owners don’t like them. I have my cage completely enclosed in clear shower curtains and only have a problem with humidity when my fogger brakes (about every 6 months) her cage is 6’X3’X3’. without the sealed curtains over it this cage would be USELESS. (I have vents for air flow). I do plan to make a wood enclosure only because my girl is almost 2 years old and I am affraid that the mesh will hurt her fingers cause shes so heavy now. If you do make a mesh/wire cage you will most likely run into problems like I do with humidity and the wire/mesh hurting your iggys fingers. but for her juvenile cage I think it was a good home for her. ( alot of ppl will not agree with me) but none have ever been to my house and seen it in person either. but in a perfect world we would all have huge all glass enclosures and take perfect care of our friends!! I do my best ;O)
it looks completely different now on the inside but you get the jist of it.
