 Water and poo

Hi, I keep reading about bath’s and going poo...my Iguana’s are outside in a brooder house for baby chicks.Should I get some leather gloves and bath them?I usually spray them all (5)with very warm water (and test on my arm first) everyday.I hate to think I have to quit my "job".... but it seems more and more like I am not taking good care of them. They lay around with thier legs beside them and look at me like, well what is it now?LOLPromise pics comming soon*Thanks

What is a brooder house for chicks? What is it made of? What is your average temp. summer and winter? Iggy’s should never be colder than 70 degrees F with 72-75 to being an ideal temp for night time and 80-85 being a good temp for day time.

A brooder house is a good habitat for iguanas. As long as there is not the very thin chicken wire that some many are made of, because an iguanas can easily cut a toe off by climbing on it. Make sure that there is plenty of direct sunlight where the iguanas lay, so that they get plenty of UV light. And because of where you live it may be a good time to bring them in because of the cool nights. It is very dangerous to keep them where they cannot stay warm all the time, so that they can digest their food. If they do not stay warm, their food will not digest and there will be a big vet bill.
Some iguanas like to have a bath and some do not!!!! I keep a big cat litter box that Lady Jack can get in (which has plenty of room for her) with warm water in it and she loves to get in it. I have to change it once or twice a day. She goes bananas if I put her in the tub, but some like it. It helps with shedding and keeps them clean. In the wild they swim. Your doing good to ask questions.
