If it was really snot...this could be a respiratory infection. Is she holding her head up high? Keep her warm and get her to the vet. My last iguana came down with one of these (although he had some other problems) but unfortunately he died on the way to the vet. If they catch these, it is often a sign that more is wrong...immune system isn’t working so well.

What pebbles are you feeding? Dry food is dehydrating...I would switch to fresh veggies.

Keep us posted.

Iguanas shouldn’t really be fed any dry food like that since they really depend on a lot of moisture in their diet. It often leads to kidney problems. Those veggies you are feeding are good but you need to add some calcium rich greens like collards, turnip, mustard greens, escarole, endive, watercress, dandelion. (always have a couple of those on hand)

And, she needs to see a vet if she has a respiratory infection. Good luck.

I never see my iguanas drink water. You said your ig had puffy eyes...maybe it might be something other than just water she was blowing out her nose. She might be sick, I would take her to a vet to get her checked out. Iguanas don’t show any signs that they’re sick until it’s too late so u should take her asap!

Can you get a picture of your iguanas eyes? Not that we are experts but just to get a general idea of what is going on.
