Most definitely! Beardies are smaller, have smaller cages, are less aggressive especially during breeding season, and are easier to handle. The only harder part of beardies is the keeping of insects which you don’t do with iguanas (but that’s really not too bad).

beardies are by far a better beginner lizard and are by far my faviorte lizard ,they are cute have their own personalities,are not aggresive and dont get 6 ft and mean .
