Puffy eyes can come from many causes, so you really do need a vet to help figure out what it could be. Edema (swelling from water retention) from kidney disease or too much/too little vitamin A are possibilities. Infection or allergy could also be the problem. Without knowing what causes it, there’s very little anybody could recommend.

I would take her to the better one...30 minutes away isn’t so bad...just keep her warm on the way over there.

How old is your iguanna? i know mine does not mind traveling in the car...i dont take him out in the winter unless nescary but during the summer he is known to go places with me and it never seems to bother him....to transport in the winer make sure the car is on and warmed up b4 u take her out to it, and put her in some sort of carrier, i use a large cat carrier and put a human heating pad that has been turned on for awhile so it stays warm in the bottom along with some blankets and a blanket over the carrier, a half hour trip should not stress her out to much and is worth it if it can save her

You can get those heat packs from camping stores too. Or use the heat pad or hot water bottle, etc.

she is about 10 years old but i have only had her for about a year so she hasnt warmed up to us that much mainly because she was abused before i got her since she was little. i dont know how she is in the car i have never taken her anywhere.she still looks really ruff but a little bit better. her calicum deposit is gone now and she is turning more her natural green color and is shedding some.
