My name is Annie, I live in Central California...... I’m 41, I’ve been married for 15yrs, but we’ve been together for 21 yrs...WOW that’s half of my life...We have 2 beautiful girls Catherine 13 and Kateri 11...oh and my husband’s name is John.........I use to work for a vet for many years....but I’m disabled now with a very serious heart condition that prevents me from working ( I’ve been in cardiac arrest 5 times and 3 heart surgeries, but that’s another story to tell some day) So I guess you might say I’m a stay at home MOM and I take care of my scaly & furry family as well as my NON scaly & furry family.....LOL... and here my list of my scaly & furry family 26 cats..........can’t name all the cats take to long..... 3 dogs........Beethoven, Burtus, Bart 4 iggys..........Squiggy, Squirt, Gilligan, Ginger 6 CWD’s..........Junie, Elmo, Morkie, Milly, Molly & Piglet 7 rats......Pocket, YoYo, April, Two Socks, JoJo, Vivian, Theodore 1 horse...Missy.... and getting a baby next spring.... 1 tortoise.....Frankie 1 praying mantis...yes we have a praying mantis for a pet, the girls found her in Dec and we’ve had her ever since, she layed eggs and now the eggs are hatching.... Oh I can’t forget my crickets, superworms, mealworms, silkworms....I raise my own food for my WD’s Well I think that’s all......LOL.......Nice to meet everyone......  |

1 male cat - Tweeter 1 female flemish giant rabbit - Dooney 5 fire belly toads - Kermit (male), Bombina (female), Scuba Steve (female-was a case of mistake identity but the name stuck), and 2 thumb nail sized baby toads-no names yet and unsure of gender 1 paddle tail newt - Popito (pronounced poe-pee-toe)-not sure of gender-think it’s a she 1 male betta - Cobalt a bunch of guppies (I breed them) and a bunch of mollies (I breed them), a couple of cory catfish and algae eaters and of course crickets That is all I have currently-I would love to have more but we just moved and I do not have the room. The next house we buy (we are looking) will have a finished basement with a room that will be my reptile room! I have had all kinds of animals in my life: hamsters, mice, rats, guinea pigs, birds, hedgehog, iguanas, black & white monitor, savannah monitor, rabbits, cats, dogs, water turtles, box turtles, frogs, toads, snakes, name it and I have probably owned it at one time or taken care of it. i have 2 iggies issac and Pauly. both juvies Issac is a little older. dont know the gender? 1 drawf hamster died today:( one of my rats got out of its cage and killed it im over rats but not duke my 1st rat hes a lover not a fighter. i have my own cat murph hes a jerk but i love him. theres other animals in my house but there not mine hermit crabs was 2 frogs my mom let them go. fish 3 other cats and 3 dogs. 3 bearded dragons: 2 females, atilla and cyra, 1 male, legend 1 iguana, male: speedy gonsales 3 dogs: 1 rottie, toby, 1 lab/pitt, lucy, 1 sheppard/ coyote, spirit 1 green cheek conure, baby 1 sun conure, sunshine 3 ringneck doves: 1 male tangerine, mocha, 1 female albino, snowhite, 1 baby, creamy ( child named them) 7 parakeets: 3 babies, 1 male, coal, 3 females, tweety, jewell, blueberry 5 hermit crabs ( pp’s i think) a small fish tank with a beta, guppies, neon tetra, ghost shrimp, pleco, blackskirt tetra, and a glowlight tetra. 45 gallon fish tank in process of setup.......hmmmmmm what to fill it with???????? now, what to do with the 30 gallon long, and the 29 gallon tanks??? lol gotta keep busy right??? i also do daycare for my friend’s 18 month old. |

i live in the uk . down south. ive been with my partner marie for close to 2 years . we have 3 boys alfie elliot and ben . we also have 1 iggy (lee) marie says its just like me eats sleeps and does very little . we also have a basalisk tokay geko a gold fish 1 dog a cat and a bearded dragon . |

My animals that live with me are: 2 Highland Lynx cats, female..Laya and male..Saki 1 igg, Yoshi 1 bearded dragon, Scooter not living with me are: 1 male pitbull reverse brindle, Phoenix 2 cats, male.... Slinkie and female.... Dale And the ones that have recently passed: 1 Mountain Horned Dragon, Crazy 1 Redtail boa, Promedose 1 Redtail boa, Prometheus I have owned/parented a lot of animals in my time but some of them really grab your heart and you miss them more than others. Right now in our house we have: 1 iguana- Carlitos 1 dog- Dulce 2 rabbits- Frijol and Arroz 2 turtles- Pepe and Javi 12 cats/kittens (Most of the cats we have are in adoption but no one here wants cats, or they want them outside to kill the rats. So we’ll keep them all until we have the best home for them!) We usually have dogs in and out until we find homes for them!! Check out our website: Guardian Angels |

i have owned chameleons (jacksons, veiled and panthers) in the past, as well as one iguana. currently i have a juvenile iguana i got two weeks ago, im guessing he is about 3 to 4 months old or so. i named him Turner, after the brand of my mt. bike (it is a kick egghead brand). i do graphic design and work for a large agency. i also do alot of freelance design on the side as well. this forum has been a blessing and i have learned a great deal over the last month or so. |

1 Blue Diamond Iguana-Diamond(He’s about 6 years old and I’ve had him since he was less than a month old, but he’s only about 3 feet for some reason) 1 Red iguana(my sister’s)-Knight(about 8 months and 2 ft) 1 Cat-Sora(who I sometimes wonder if he’s actually a dog =D) 2 Oscars 1 Algae eater 2 blue channel catfish I used to have: 1 pyramid agama-Rex 1 Butterfly Agama(my sister’s)-Star(who passed away shortly after our mom sold her back to the pet store) 1 Black Racer-Wicca 1 Leopard Gecko-Athena R.I.P. Star <3 I volunteered at a pet store but my mom made me quit.Though there is a 5 foot iggy there now named Teddy who I’m trying to raise some money for because he has a broken leg and desperately needs a vet.Unfortunately, due to his former owner’s ignorance he was stuck with the broken leg untreated for 7 months before he finally decided to give him up.We’re waiting for the vet’s response but we’re pretty sure he’s going to have to get his leg amputated. |

My name is Daniel, I live in Cuernavaca, Morelos (Mexico) I have two older brothers Sam(26) and David (22) and I’m 17 years old. I just got into college and I’m studying Business for Hotel and Gastronomy. I love reptiles and my life iis all about working out, I’m planning to compete in Cuernava Teen bodybuilding contest but I don’t know yet because of the money that I need for supplements, diet, and the gym membership but that’s kinda my dream. I have rescued green iguanas or helped people with their iguanas care, and I have my information card that I give to people at petshops so they can contact me and give them advice on green iguanas care. Some years ago I had Pancho a green iguana that had MBD and wanted to take care of him and help him with the disease but the vet told me that the MBD got into his system and he was going to die anyway so he died (RIP). Then I rescued Rex(ie) from the school lab, because she was in exhibition just to watch her I don’t know why having an iguana in the lab but it was very skinny and never received UVB or calcium, now look at her and I’m very proud. My pets are: -1 green iguana, Rex(ie) -7 turtles; 1 Red eared slider(6 years old), 1 ouachita map(3 years old), 1 cooter(3 years old), 2 Mexican mud(5 years old), 1 Northern Diamond back terrapin(few months old), 1 Yellow spotted(few months old). -4 fishes; 2 zebras and 2 pink zebras. I have one calico cat-Cafe Au’Lait AKA Princess Peeing-Pooping Pudge as she refuses to use her litterbox. I got her from the pound 2 years ago so I don’t know her history. She is 7. Hubby has a Purebred Main Coon Cat-Recess formerly Regis Von Fhursteinburg. He is diabetic and has shots twice a day. The breeder went out of business and he was passed around when i got him 2 years ago. He is holding his own at age 17. He sleeps in a baby bassinette I bought for him on the floor. Jonathan,our son, is 11 and owns Black Thunder, a mexican black kingsnake. Another rescue-2 years ago- from the pet shop who could not sell him. He was untamed, and wild and scaring people. He has since calmed down, quit musking and grown to 51 inches. He is 4. Emily, our daughter is 10 and owns Eisa, a green iguana. He was adopted 2 yrs ago-see the pattern?-from another state. He had MBD, broken toes and tail and a callous on his nose. He has calmed down, regrown his spikes, stopped the MBD although his jaw willalways be misaligned, and managed to grow a nose horn. Last year was his first breeding season complete with head bobs and other things males do-ick. He weighs in at 2.5 lbs and is 4 yrs old. A slow but steady recovery. Cassie B, our daughter is 8 and always has 2-3 mice at one sitting. She breeds the mice for Black Thunder as well as selling the pinkies and fuzzies to the local pet stores. She has her own business and the owners trust her to turn out healthy pinkies with strict housing, feeding, and breeding standards (she rests the mothers for 2 months each time) Honestly, I just supervise the care, help with the cage cleanings, and take everyone to the vet when they need it but even then the kids take off school to escort THEIR pets with me. i have pics which I will post but my camera batteries are low so maybe tomorrow...if no one escapes. ::crosses fingers:: |
