 Just keep swimming

has anyone ever put there iguana in the bathtub and let him swim when he was young? Do you think it’s okay?

i have done so with mine, but you are supposed to clean it before you put youir iggy in and then again afterwards

I just put MoJo in a few minutes ago and after a minute in the water, he stiffened up as if he was dead and just floated around. Is that normal? PLEASE HELP

LOL No worries bro.

Idk about other iggies but here are somethings my iguanas does.

1. Just Floats (Stiffens Up)
2. Swims non-stop
3. Jumps around
4. Jumps around the sides as if hes trying to get out

I highly recommend that you put a large rock in the tub like i do. I make sure its small enough to where he cannot jump out but also where hes half in and half out of the water.

Oh and another thing. Make sure ur water is around 90-95 degrees. and keep him in for about 15 min tops.

You are all lucky that you can give your Iggy’s a bath. Sam has not been in a bath in three months due to the fact that water just freaks him out. But the Mama wipes him down as needed...hehe
