But really I was scared this time..I thought that this is it, I’m not going to make it this time... I didn’t even get to see John (my husband) and tell him I love him because he was at work and his work is 45 miles away.....My girls were at the house and they were hysterical..I was so out of it I didn’t know what was going on...One minute I’m staggering down the hall trying to get to my bedroom and the next thing I know I was in the back of an ambulance being rushed to the hospital....I was trying to tell them that if I code don’t defibrillate me because I already have a defibrillator implanted in my chest......Well they kept me for a while ran some test. My potassium levels were a little low so I think that’s what did it..My heart is so sensitive to things like that.....I wish they had little machine to test you potassium level at home..I have one for my blood sugar but I need something for my potassium..My medicine I take to keep my blood pressure up also plays with my blood sugar & potassium levels.......so I can’t win I guess.... I’m home now, I’m doing OK, just taking it real easy today... Doctors orders R & R for the next few days....I’m still a little out of it....but I’m feeling better........My body feels like it’s been put through a washer machine wringer..I’m sore from be poked and prodded and stuck with needles....But the good news is I’m still here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the big man upstairs didn’t want me yet...LOL.... You know it things like this that really makes you sit down and think how fast life can be taken away from you...I aways live my day as if it were my last because I never know if I’m going to wake up and see the next day........:( I hate living like that but I guess if God wants me I can’t say no........ So just give me a couple of days and I will get it up and running....I’m going to post the rules and you guys tell me what you think........... Thanks........... Annie |

Feeling a little better today..Just real sore on my arms from the IV’s..Well my whole body is sore feels like I’ve been working out at the gym....LOL.... I really thought this was it..I was a goner..but I guess the good Lord doesn’t want me yet....This is the worst episode I’ve had in a long time....I hope a don’t have any more...but I know some day I will...so in the mean time I just go with the flow........and live each day as if it were my last...... |

Indy5, It is a little scary at times, but I’am kinda use to it, I’ve been in cardiac arrest 5 times and 3 heart surgeries.....and I have defibrillator/pacemaker implanted in my chest to keep my heart going, without it I wouldn’t be here.....My Mom always use to call me a Timex watch.."I take a licking and keep on ticking".....LOL....  |
