Small, black bumps on the back of a young iggy?

(Hello.’m new here. Nice to meet’cha, peoples. *waves* )

I’ve gotten a young ig about a month ago. She does have UV light, and I feed her various types of greens and dry food, which she eats with an unlizardly appetite. She’s had some dark (bluish-brown) bump/spot (it almost looks like a scab), about the size of a pencil eraser, on her back. It has become better defined since the last shed, but does not spread. Is it something that I should be worried about?

It looks like a scab? then it probaly is lol, she may ahve gotten into a fight with her siblings before yuo got her or she may have scraped her back in her cage, if its just a blueish looking spot its probaly just her coloring.

can u post pics? if it didn’t get any better since the last shed, you may want to try the vet, just in case. but leokeeper may be right about what it is if you or the previous owner had him/her caged w/ another ig.

glad to hear it! speaking of clumsy igs- mine was sleeping the other night on the edge of his shelf, and nearly fell off in his sleep! it was actually pretty funny to see; he didn’t get hurt, just startled.

Heh.. yesh. Sometimes, I don’t understand my Ig. One moment, she’s scratching like a cat and imitating a helicopter with her tail, the other moment, she turns into butter as I scratch her on the head.
