 Claw clipping

I just have a couple of questions about..well, of course claw clipping lol. I no that you are only meant to do the very tips, but would it do any major damage if you went into the soft tissue by accident, like if the ig moved all of a sudden etc? cause i dont want to have to hurt my iggy! lol

Well it would hurt and it would bleed. It happens from time to time so you have to stop the bleeding. I believe corn starch can be used. I’ve been lucky in that I’ve never messed up clipping. If you are careful and get your ig used to it early, you’ll have better luck. I’ve cut a squirmy bird’s toes on accident, however. He was much harder to deal with than a lizard!
