Correction...Black Spiny Tailed Iguana 
Does anyone know where I can buy a Black Spiny Tailed Iguana. None of the local pet stores near me carry them. Anyone know any web sites?

If you are looking for a Mexican Black Spiny I’ve only seen a very few of them in the pet trade. The most common Spinys that you will see are C. similis and C. quinquecarinata. Check the online classifieds frequently and you may run across a Black sometime.

Highly possible. Manny sells Florida wild caught spinys. They are usually beautiful animals but really wild! I’ve not had much luck acclimating adult WC similis to captivity.

yea all his stuff says wild caught and not treated for parasites or anything. however, i looked again and these were actually babies, so maybe a better chance at taming down? although im sure they’ll still be wild, my captive bred rhino baby is pretty wild right now lol.

Yea, I want the c. similis, but I would probably want it captive bred and it seems as if that is impossible. Does anyone know other lizards that get about 3 feet long cause that’s what I’m looking for and the spiny tail just looked awesome?
