 Dark shirt issue.

This episode has repeated about 3-4 times already.
As of late, ’ve started to have ’reading sessions’ with Icky after my evening classes (Aka putting her on my stomach and petting her, while I read a book). If the shirt ’m wearing is light, she proceeds to stare at me, stare at the book and promptly fall asleep. However, if the shirt is dark, she may look at its folds contemplatevly for a few minutes, before picking out one of them and biting it. Generally, she only does that once a night.
Any ideas on why she’s doing it? She’s never bit me before and is a rather nice-mannered Ig, all things considered.

 Dark shirt issue.

They do react to color...dislike certain ones and may act negatively to them. Or sometimes they think certain colors are foodlike and want to taste them.

Another idea... Are you sure she is a female? Males bite when they are in breeding season..for mating purposes.

Hope this helps you pinpoint the problem. I’ve had all 3 instances happen.

Not sure about the gender, as s/he’s rather young (body the length of an average pen).
