Pics and Update on Snoopy 
Took the camera for a test run tonight. I’ve had snoopy for about a month now. He came from a poor environment, tiny cage, and the owners little annoying dogs would jump on his cage and bark at him. You can imagine the stress he was under. Hes fattened up a lot and his color is really starting to come out.
And tonight he let me pick him up without struggling and and squirming!!! Thats the first time hes let me do that outside of his cage. This is a huge step forward it feels like, I’m so excited for him to become fully tame.

I’m not exactly sure what his head bobs mean. But I’m pretty sure that the ones hes doing now are just the hello/greeting bobs. When I first got snoopy he would give me the threatening head bobs. There is a distinct difference between the two. A threatening head bob will be fast and unrelaxed almost as if your iguana is in a strob light.

Tonight snoopy just chilled on my lap and let me pet him and watch tv for around 20 minutes. Hes never let me do that before!! It was so awesome haha.
He hasnt pooped today though has me a little worried.

ok, i just watched the video (cute!). there’s something wrong w/donatello. he hardly eats anything, and from what i can see on the forum other igs eat like pigs (little poetry there--ar!ar!). he likes the iggy salad, but i don’t think he eats more than 2 tablespoons of food all day long. he’s growing, but is he ok?

O that is very little and has me concerned. How big is Donetello? I would try mixing his food up, throw some treats in with his regular greens. Is his cage hot enough? Is he pooping?
Snoopy been eating like a pig lately.

it has me concerned, too. he’s about 7 inches nose-to-vent, which is at least an inch more than what he was when i got him. the only thing he eats with enthusiasm is strawberry fruit bars--maybe i can bribe him w/those. i tried every green before i found one he would eat (turnip), and he ate frozen mixed veggies until i learned more. the first time i gave him the iggy salad posted here, he loved it, and now he won’t touch it. he poops (a lot) in the shower every day, and his solid is solid and his white is white and he’s not dehydrated. he acts hungry, but he doesn’t eat when i offer him his food.

Well hes pooping thats good to here. Yes try mixing he faves in with greens but dont exclusively offer him treats as that will be the only thing he will eat. And getting a picky iguana back on regular diet is no fun and is a long and rigorous journey. Sometimes Iggys just go through little phases where they wont eat a lot for a couple days, it’s normal. How long has this been going on?

he’s never eaten a lot, but this nearly nothing thing has been going on for about three days. maybe it’s just because he hasn’t gotten to spend the usual amount of time out of his cage. i’ve got a new dog, and i don’t trust him yet (the other animals don’t mess with ’tello). today i put ’tello up on top of the entertainment center, which is his favorite place to be, and when i went to pet him he ran away from me, so i know he’s afraid of going back in yet. i did cut a grape in half (he’s small) and offered it to him, and he scarfed it. he’s never even seen one before. when i first got him, almost all he ever had to eat was chard. he won’t even touch it now. his former owner felt that a little dish of whatever he was having for supper was fine for the lizard. it was interesting trying to get him to eat anything at all when he first got here. he likes dandelions sometimes, i haven’t given up on the parsnip and squash salad. maybe i’m just impatient. i sure appreciate your input, and snoopy is gorgeous.

You say he scarfed the grapfruit up huh, well thats good. Tomorrow, I would mix up some grapfruit with leafy greens. Hand feed him a piece of grapfruit let him get that yummy taste in his mouth. Then show him the plate of grapefruit and leafy greens, set it in his usual eating spot.
Thats what I do for snoopy when his appetite is down it usually works.
And thanks I love snoopy he just fell asleep on my chest while I’ve been surfing the net
