 Smaller species??????????

what are some smaller species (like the helmeted iguana) that like it humid. My mom won’t let me get a huge one Also instead of a UV lamp could I just take the lizard outside to bask in the sunlight? the patio is screened in.

How about an anole? And not meaning to be rude at all here but you are on the computer so why not research all that you can about all the species and perhaps you will find something suitable for what you are looking for, sizewise and carewise though of course, everything and everyone needs love and proper care :)

Good luck~

I know they are technically iguanids, but i want an iguana. I like big lizards but i can’t get a huge one. Any way the iguana i wanted (or so i thought) is a helmeted basilisk any way.

does anyone know the size of a spiny tailed iguana? I found a website that said they got just under thirty centimeters, ut i read on care sheets that they can get up to 3 feet. I’m confused it also called them curly tailed iguanas so i dont know.

Hi what about a water dragon they are loads smaller than an iggy but you can still take them out and handle them easily. They do need a big enclosure as they like to climb
Here’s my male and female they are both over 2 feet long. They don’t get much bigger

i wanted a water dragon but my mom said they were too big. Club tailed iguanas usually get a little over a foot long.
