 Enyaliosaurus palaeris

does any one know where i can find a care sheet on these guys? I already found a place to buy them cheap, plus I’ll have plenty of time to do research because if i can get one at all I want it to be during spring break.

Well I happened to search a little and I did find that they were also called Guatemalan spiny-tailed iguanas.
http://www.iucnredlist.org/search/details.php/44192/summ <-- this is the endangered species web site and it does say that they are critically endangered but are still common in the pet trade and that it is not a threat at the moment. Maybe knowing what the are called in english might help out a bit, hehe.

in english i found them called all kinds of things so i decided to be more exact. One other name for them is the Honduran Dwarf Spiny-Tailed Iguana

I think the enyaliosaurus is a club tail Iguana. I do not know however if all the club tailed species require the same care but I guess it is a start.

Good luck to you~

thanks, I think i’ll just try to convince my parents to let me get a regular iguana or a WD. They’re pretty, my mom might like them.

You can talk to Pocochu (Annie) about the WDs too. She has a bunch and is very knowledgeable on them.

Whoever ends up in your care, I do wish you the best :)

Have a good night

I’ve decided to go smaller. I already have a 10 gallon tank with a lid and lock thingys so I decided to get a leopard gecko.
