 Iguana food?

Right now I am feeding my baby iguana Collard greens, mustard greens, bok choy mixed together, then I add in some red bell peppers (for color./taste) mango, and apples. Is this a good salad for a baby iguana? Is there anything I should add in?

(he is seems pretty healthy to me?) Here is some picture of him that I just took today. Oh, does he look like a male or female?

Hi Jess,

He looks good :) the collards and mustard greens are great. Pocochu has a salad on here that is wonderful that I can bump the post up for you. I would ditch the bok choy and apples and go easy on the fruit though mango is good in the fruit area. Add in some butternut and acorn squash for him.

sounds like a good healthy diet to me but might want to lay off on the apples and mango only give it that like twice a week there not suppost to eat alot of fruits all the time those are considered snacks for them but with everything else sounds great and yes it looks very healthy fat and green =).....its kinda hard to tell there sex when there so young but take a look underneath its hind legs and look for the spores maybe take a clear picture of them and maybe someone on here will be able to sex your iguana for you

Hes looking good. However, too young to tell male of female. Also you should take a look at the list of iggy food they have on green ig society its very helpful.
