Since you just got him a few days ago he’s not eating because he’s acclimating (getting used to his surroundings) its normal :) The best thing to do is just let him be and make sure he has good food and clean water. Also make sure the food pieces are smaller than the width of his mouth. As Adrianna said, he needs time to acclimate. You need to let him be for a couple of weeks at least. What type of enclosure do you have him in and do you have the proper heating and UVB? Also, as she said above, just make sure that he has fresh food and fresh water. All the best, Tone~ |

Then again, when I bought him, he was super scrawny. They fed him lettuce and he was the runt in the tank. I guess different iguanas need various amounts of time to get used to thei environment (unless they were starved) |
