 Need help building cage

does anyone think that building a cage using trees from outside a bad idea like if all the wood was tall and straight and i sanded it i just wabt to experment with makig a more natural looking cage then one just made out of plank

That would be cool! You might have to fill in the cracks with foam or something. Or you know what you could do? Have a cage made out og glass and then putt sticks on the inside and outside of the walls, that way it looks natural but it can still keep in the heat and everything....I though about doing that to the inside of my tank someday....so they can climb on the walls. Post pictures of it if you make it, I would love to see how it turns out! : )
