this is shela’s (didnt much care for this picture...she huffed and puffed at me lol) and i am guessing female. dont really want to have her probed...and i dont have much to compare the pores to in actual size...what do you guys think?

haha dont tell me that!!! i want to still be able to call her my little girl...lol...well we have a female cat named sam (we thot she was a he at first. lol silly us)...so i guess a male lizard called shela isnt that bad.

haha well i guess i will call him crikey or something like that. haha. i still cant believe shela is a male...hes got such a slim body type (he is a fat little thing though), and the jowls are so small. plus what i have read of the males, is nothing like my iggy. from what i understand...the males are nasty hormone raged devils. like i read something that said never put a male on your shoulder cuz he may try and bite your neck in a breeding gesture...

so what can i truly expect of a male?

haha it was cute...i gave my iggy (dont know what to call it lol) a bath today, and then wrapped "it" up in a towl and we laid on the lazy boy and basked in the sun together. i enventually took the towl off, and he stayed right there with his eyes closed and me rubbing right behind the jowls. spoiled little thing.

but maybe she is a male. the spikes are looking better now, they were all smal, broken, and nasty looking. but she shedded, and they look wonerful. longer, smoother, and more healthy. even a few tiny spikes on the head. oh well, i love my baby regardless.

Hey Annie, thanks for the pore shots but Yoshis are a lot different than those pics. They arent round like those posre. They are long sticthes. How can I get a good pic for you to see? Im guessing female though mainly cuz they are small. I kinda hope its not a female cuz I dont want to have to deal with eggs. It took us so long to get him/her this big and now if it is a female... Im gonna freak. Then your gonna have to school me on when I should be looking for eggs, what age Im going to be expectng them..etc!

I’ll try to get a pic for ya right now but Yoshi is VERY skiddish and Im scared he/she might claw the ever living skin off of me! lol! He/she doesnt bite or whipp but he/she just claws ya to death! Ok.. Ill go get a pic.....

P.S. Here is a recent pic of my lil one ya asked about. He is 3 months old and weighs 13 lbs. 24 inches long. Big boy!

He/she is about 2-3 feet long total and maybe 2-3 yrs old. Yoshi had a hard time growing at first but now he wont stop.

Hey Ron, how are things going? Yes, Yoshi has gotten a lot bigger and she wont stop growing. Who knows if this a girl or boy. I really hope we have a boy here. Im so scared of her getting egg bound! How is your lil King doing? How is the beardie? Or beardies? How are you?

Ok, so if it is a female... what am I looking for when it comes to egg time. Do they have a season of when they start producing eggs and laying them? What do I do when she starts acting funny? What are the signs of "egg bound"? How old are they when this egg laying happens? What do I do when it is time for her to start producing eggs...feeding wise to help the eggs and to also help them pass. ETC ETC!! Please give me some answers! Oh..one more thing when do the pores really stop growing, b/c I just noticed them about a month or so ago and like I said they were stitches kinda and now they are round. So, when do they stop growing?

And thanks for the comment on my little man! I know what ya mean! He is getting so big already! :(
