 Is my iguana o.k.

can anyone answer this, if a 2 year old iguana is only a foot and a half, (which is small for that age)because the old owner kept him in a 3 foot by 3 foot cage, and i put him in a much larger cage will his growing pattern change back to normal or will he always be smaller than average?

This question was already answered for you. Now you got my attention which can be bad or good depends on how you look at it. The cage has nothing to do with the growth!! either the previous owner doesn’t know the real age or wasn’t taking care of them right or feeding them enough. This is a reptile not a fish you were already told this listen the first time. I read both posts and you didn’t accidentally post twice because they both say different things. Now if you were kept in a 24 inch dresser drawer would you only grow to 2 feet tall(if you are only this tall disregard)no you would get as tall as nature has intended for you. So feed them proper diets, give them room, supply proper basking and cage temps(high and low), and you will get them on the right track. I see people doing "rescues" all the time and sometimes I wonder if the animals go from bad to worse.
